Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

Although cubital tunnel syndrome and radial tunnel syndrome are less well-known than their more well-known cousin, carpal tunnel syndrome, they can also produce significant pain, numbness, tingling, and muscular weakness in the hands and arms.

All of these nerve compression syndromes are caused by increased pressure on a nerve in the wrist, arm, or elbow, which is frequently caused by bone or connective tissue. Cubital tunnel syndrome and radial tunnel syndrome are usually treatable with conservative measures. However, in more severe situations, surgery to relieve pressure on the afflicted nerve may be required.
